Description: We were called to Nomansland at 12.37pm today (12 August) for a fire affecting approx. 25 acres of standing crops, baled hay and a baling machine. Five fire engines, four heavy off-road appliances, two small off-road vehicles, a water carrier, a Unimog and a command unit are in attendance. Initial support from Hightown, Burley and Fordingbridge in Hampshire & Isle of Wight FRS was stood down once crews had arrived from further away.
Update 9:30pm - The fire is now out and the incident has now been scaled back to two pumping appliances, one small off-road vehicle and one water carrier who remain on scene to tackle hotpots.
