Description: At 4.32pm this afternoon (20/02/2023) firefighters from Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and Bridport were called to reports of a fire in a public building at Southwell Business Park, Portland. At the height of this incident approx 25 firefighters were on the scene. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Firefighters then ventilated the premises. Fire investigation officers will attend the premises and conduct a full investigation into the cause of the fire when it is safe to do so.
