Recycling centre fire

Description: We were called at 11:41am today with reports of a fire at a household recycling centre on Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Swindon. Four fire appliances were mobilised, from Swindon Westlea and Stratton x 2 along with a support vehicle from Swindon. On arrival crews found a fire within a commercial building involving a piece of machinery which was extinguished using two main lines and one safety jet. Thermal imaging and air monitoring equipment was also used to check the area, and our stop came in at 1:06pm.
