Description: One pump from Weymouth was mobilised to a report of an alarm sounding at a premises on Radipole Lane, Weymouth at 07:19 hours this morning. On arrival the crew found that there was a fire within a flat and so a further 2 pumps (another from Weymouth and one from Portland) and the aerial appliance from Weymouth were sent to the incident. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one main line and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire in the living room of the second floor flat. A reminder that alarms really do save lives!!!
