Fire in the open – Corsham

Date: 4th September, 2025

Time: 5:03pm

Description: We were called at 5:03pm yesterday (4 September) with reports of a fire in the open near Stowell Farm, Corsham. Two appliances from Chippenham, one from Corsham and a water carrier from Royal Wootton Bassett were mobilised to the incident. On arrival crews found a large fire involving some tyres and bracken which was extinguished using two hose reel jets, two main lines and drags. Our stop was in at 9:16pm.
