Description: A4 - Crews from the Marlborough fire station were mobilised to a report of a fire on the embankment of the A4 in Fyfield. In attendance crews confirmed a fire involving smouldering wood chippings that had spread to the road embankment and nearby field. A water carrier was requested from the Pewsey fire station and the fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets and one main jet with water supplemented from the water carrier. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots and make safe.
