Description: An emergency call was made reporting smoke issuing from a dishwasher. Fire crews from Weymouth and Dorchester Fire Stations attended and extinguished a fire in a kitchen using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal image camera. This illustrates why it is important to never leave a dishwasher running while you are sleeping or out of the house.
