A fitness class with a difference – it’s all for charity, and there will also be cake! Health & fitness officer Shaun Dunham, an experienced personal trainer, is running the ‘Give Cancer a Kicking’ session in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Registration will open at 9.30am with the class starting at 10am. A Macmillan coffee morning will then run from 11am, with plenty of cake to enjoy. The class will cost £10, then the coffee morning will be priced at £1.50 for a drink and some cake. Operational activity allowing, the firefighters at Westlea will also be on hand to show people around the fire appliance and to answer questions about home fire safety.
