Description: We were called at 8.02pm on 28 September near to Seldown Road Bridge, Poole to reports of a fire affecting a shed. Crews from Poole (x2), Westbourne, Redhill Park, Springbourne and a command unit from Hamworthy attended. On arrival, they found the fire had spread to the external fascia of a nearby block of flats. Further appliances were then mobilised from Wimborne, Ferndown and Christchurch. Nine breathing apparatus wearers used a main line, two hose reel jets and a safety jet to extinguish the fire along with a large fan for smoke logging. The building was evacuated and a cordon put in place. One casualty was rescued from the building and left in the care of the ambulance service. The stop came in at 10.15pm and the cause is under investigation.
