Lorry fire – M4 west near Chippenham

Date: 20th March, 2023

Time: 12.19pm

Description: M4 westbound Chippenham - the braking system of a large goods vehicle was involved in fire.  Two fire crews from Chippenham attended and ensured the vehicle was safe before assisting Police in moving the vehicle to a safe location.  The incident was handed over to the Highways Agency.
