Road traffic collision – Sedgehill

Description: Fire crews from Shaftesbury and Gillingham have attended a road traffic collision on the A350 at Sedgehill. The incident involved a minibus and 3 other vehicles. The minibus rolled on to its side and one person was trapped by the arm. Fortunately, as  crews prepared to extricate the casualty, they managed to free their arm. Following an assessment by paramedics, the fire crews then assisted the casualty onto a stretcher. This casualty was then transported to hospital by air ambulance.  There were two other casualties who were walking wounded but were not trapped. They were treated by paramedics.
