Description: Fire fighters from Chippenham, Royal Wootton Basset and Avon Fire and Rescue Service attended a one vehicle road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M4. Initial reports were that the vehicle was on it's roof and that a person was trapped. Fortunately, prior to arrival of fire and rescue services the person had self-extricated. Firefighters made the scene safe, liaised with police and highways and handed the casualty over to the ambulance service
