Description: Firefighters from Stratton Fire Station were called to a report of a smoke alarm sounding at a residential property. On arrival they discovered a small fire on cooker hob. This was extinguished by removal and positive pressure ventilation used. Fortunately no one was injured. It is important to never leave cooking unattended.
