Description: Crews from Malmesbury and Royal Wootton Bassett were mobilised to reports of smoke within a loft space at a property in Charlton just outside of Malmesbury. Once in attendance the crew discovered a chimney fire that was well alight and smoke was entering the roof voids. With the assistance of the Aerial Appliance from Swindon crews carried out further external checks and firefighting actions to ensure the fire was out. A relief crew from Cricklade was sent at around 00:30.
