Description: A crew from Blandford responded to an alarm activation at a residential premises in Orchard Street this morning. On arrival they discovered an unattended frying pan left on the cooker, which had caused smoke logging in the property. An elderly resident was treated for smoke inhalation by firefighters prior to the arrival of an ambulance, by administering oxygen. The pan was removed to safety and the cooker was made safe. The property was ventilated to clear the smoke and a home safety check was carried out.
