Chimney Fire

Date: 3rd November, 2021

Time: 19:09

Description: Firefighters from Salisbury were called to a chimney fire this evening. Chimney rods, stirrup pump and one hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.  At this time of year we would encourage anyone using a chimney to have it swept by a qualified sweep and ensure they keep their certificate.  This is the case even if it has not been used as bird debris can obstruct chimneys.
