Description: Two pumps from Poole were mobilised to a report of a wooden outbuilding on fire in the garden of a premises on Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers. Once in attendance, crews advised that the incident was persons reported and a third pump was sent from Poole to assist. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a main jet and turning over and dampening down to extinguish the outbuilding, which was unfortunately completely destroyed by fire. One casualty had self rescued prior to the arrival of the crews and was treated on scene for smoke inhalation by the Ambulance service. Crews confirmed that all persons were accounted for. An officer remains on scene undertaking fire investigation duties and British Red Cross are assisting with advice and support for the occupant.
