Melksham fire station on Semington Road, will be hosting an open day on Wednesday 25 October, as part of Wiltshire Council’s two week long Family Learning Festival. Visitors to the station will be able to find out more about life as a firefighter, look around the fire station, see the equipment on the fire engine and try on some fire kit. Under eights will be able to try out our mini fire kits and visitors will be able to play fire safety Giant Jenga and Skittles. The crew will be on hand to answer questions as well as offer fire safety advice developed to help keep your family and home safe.
