Protecting your premises from the risk of arson

Date: 9th August, 2024

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service recognises that business owners may be looking to increase security measures to protect their premises, following concern about recent events.

If you are the Responsible Person and you are considering making changes to your premises, we would like to remind you that fire safety measures should be maintained to ensure your premises remain compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Responsible Persons should review their fire risk assessment if any changes are made to the premises that will have an impact on any fire safety measures within it.
