Description: Vehicle fire - crews from Stratton St Margaret and Westlea attended reports of a horsebox involved in fire on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between J15 and Membury Services. All people and animals were clear of the vehicle and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to fully extinguish the fire. One lane of the motorway was closed temporarily to ensure crew safety and the incident was dealt with within half an hour of receiving the call.
