Description: Following the receipt of several calls reporting a car fire on the westbound carriageway of the M4 motorway near Chippenham, two fire crews from Chippenham station attended, and used two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and small tools to extinguish the fire. National Highways traffic officers closed one lane to enable firefighters to deal with the incident safely. The vehicle was totally destroyed by fire.
