Description: 4:40pm - The crew from Springbourne were called by a member of the public that spotted a car travelling towards Hurn Road in Christchurch with fire issuing from the boot. Other vehicles flashed the car to warn of the fire and eventually flagged it to stop. Firefighters were on scene quickly and used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, then remained on scene to gather information and determine how it started.
