Description: A30 Babylon Hill - a fire crew from Yeovil assisted DWFRS and attended a van on fire just off the A30 near Babylon Hill. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and a thermal image camera to check the vehicle was completely safe. Due to diesel and water runoff both the water board and Environment Agency were informed, and the Highways Agency also attended.
