Online assessments

At the initial stage of the recruitment process, we will ask you to sit online tests. These include a Situational Judgement Test, a Behavioural Style Questionnaire, and Fire Service Ability Tests in verbal, numerical and mechanical reasoning. These will be completed online at home.

Later on in the process, as part of Stage Four Practical Assessment, candidates will be re-tested on the initial online ability test(s) completed at the beginning of the process. These checks are in place to verify that candidates have completed these tests without assistance.
