Overview
Tisbury is an on-call station, so its firefighters have other jobs and obligations. They commit time to the Fire & Rescue Service throughout the week and respond to emergency calls when paged.
This is also a co-responder station, where firefighters support the ambulance service by attending medical emergencies ahead of a paramedic arriving.
This fire station has a clothing recycling bank for the Fire Fighters Charity.
