NFSP Project Manager vacancy


Temporary Secondment – Initially for 12 months with the potential to extend for a further 12 months

Group Manager B or equivalent Support Staff (salary £38,032 to £41,846)

Applications are invited for an initial one year secondment for the above post within the Networked Fire Services Partnership – the post holder will report to the Chair of the NFSP Operational Management Board (OMB).

To assist the Partnership in meeting its goals, we are seeking to appoint a Project Manager who can evidence a proven track record of managing complex projects in accordance with the National Occupational Standards for managing projects (SFJCS9.1).  Excellent working knowledge of project management methodologies and qualified to Prince 2 Practitioner/Professional level or equivalent or, able to provide evidence of relevant experience as a project manager. In addition, the successful candidate will have the proven ability to influence and change stakeholders’ views.

This role has been introduced to deliver a programme of work for the NFSP, this includes the completion of the outstanding requirements from the Benefits Realisation Plan and alignment of Control Room ways of working.

The successful applicant will be based in their home Service, with a commitment to attend and coordinate meetings and work in partner FRSs on a weekly basis.
