A car wash is being held at Devizes fire station this Saturday (29 April) to raise money for two charities nominated by the town’s Mayor.
Cllr Jane Burton chose to support the local branch of Prostate Cancer UK and the Fire Fighters Charity when she came into office last year. Her son Dan is a Crew Manager with Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
As a final fund-raising boost before her term of office comes to a close, the car wash has been organised by Devizes firefighters, and proceeds will be shared between the two charities.
The event will run between 9am and 3.30pm, and all donations will be welcome!
