Description: We were called to Higher Street, Lillington at 11.38am on 17 September after a controlled burn started to spread. Crews attended from Sherborne, Yeovil, Sturminster Newton and Wincanton, together with water carriers from Yeovil and Bridport. Compressed air foam was used to tackle the fire, which involved a large quantity of tyres, and water was used to contain the fire and protect a nearby barn and woodland. The stop was at 4.19pm.
