Date: 8th November, 2016
Description: At 18:16 we received a call stating that there was a fire involving electrical arcing on a train at a railway station in Dorchester. A total of 6 crews attended along with specialist appliances, including 2 pumps from Dorchester, and one from each of Weymouth, Maiden Newton, Bere Regis and Bridport. The fire was out upon the arrival of the fire engines and crews on scene investigated the area with thermal imaging cameras. There were no injuries and all passengers were evacuated to the furthest away carriage.
