Road traffic collision M4 near Leigh Delamere Services

Description: Just before 9pm a call was received for a road traffic collision approx 1/2 mile before the services on the westbound carriageway of the M4 near Leigh Delamere. The collision involved a van, which was originally believed to have had someone trapped inside. Crews from Chippenham, Malmesbury and Corsham Fire Stations attended, and fortunately the casualty was released prior to their arrival. Crews made the scene safe and left the incident in the hands of the ambulance service and the police
