Road Traffic Collision – A338, Collingbourne Ducis

Date: 20th September, 2019

Time: 6:33pm

Description: Crews from Marlborough and Pewsey Fire Station have attended a road traffic collision (RTC) on the A338, Collingbourne Ducis. Upon arrival, crews found a van and a motorbike involved in a collision with both vehicles on fire as a result of the impact. Firefighters used 2 self-contained breathing apparatus sets and 2 high-pressure hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The driver of the van and motorcyclist were both treated by South West Ambulance Service. Police have closed the road until further notice.
