Out of control bonfire at Bath Road, Devizes

Description: At 21:12 Fire Control received multiple calls to an out of control bonfire on Bath Road, Devizes.  A fire crew from Melksham was initially mobilised and on arrival smoke and flames were found to be issuing. The fire was an out of control bonfire containing a large amount of pallets, and they requested assistance for a further fire engine. This was mobilised from Pewsey Fire Station. The fire then also spread to some storage containers containing wooden furniture and more pallets. The fire was extinguished using 1 main jet, water supply from a hydrant and two firefighters in breathing apparatus. The fire was under control by 23:15
