Mobile home fire – Christchurch

Description: At 07:42 this morning Fire Control received a call to a fire involving a mobile home at a premises on Dudmoor Farm Road, Christchurch. Two crews from Christchurch Fire Station attended, one a full time crew and the other an on call crew. The caller also had concerns for some gas cylinders which were near to the fire too. On arrival the crews found there to be some fencing alight along with the mobile home. The fire had started in the bedroom of the unoccupied mobile home, and was extinguished using 2 hose reel jets. It was under control by 08:04. The electricity board also attended to isolate the electrics.
