Light Aircraft – Frome

Date: 11th January, 2019

Time: 1.18pm

Description: Norton St Philip - Multiple crews from Dorset and Wiltshire and a crew from Frome fire station were mobilised to a report of a light aircraft making a crash landing in the area of Norton St Philip. Crews from the Frome station located the incident and confirmed one light aircraft to have crashed and landed on its roof, fortunately the pilot was out of the aircraft prior to their arrival and didn't required medical attention. Crews assisted with righting the aircraft off its roof.
