Large fuel spillage – Bournemouth

Description: At 12:04 we received a call to large fuel spillage in Yeomans Way, Bournemouth. A total of four fire engines from Springbourne, Redhill, Christchurch and Poole fire stations attended, along with an incident support unit from Poole. The crews discovered that approximately 100 litres of fuel had been spilled onto the highway from the ruptured fuel tank of a lorry. The firefighters temporarily sealed the leak before leaving the scene after the arrival of the local highways department.
