Flooding- Trowbridge

Description: At 09:07 Fire control took a 999 call to an address where a significant amount of water had entered the basement, lift shafts and plant room and it was thought to have chemicals mixed in.  One fire engine from Trowbridge, one from Bradford On Avon the environmental protection vehicle from Gillingham and support pump from Shaftsbury were mobilised. On arrival the crews confirmed that there was no chemicals involved so the EPU and support pump were stood down. The incident commander requested the attendance of the heavy rescue vehicle from Trowbridge   to come and assist with pumps. Approximately 40,000l of water was pumped out.
