Description: A crew from Royal Wootton Bassett (RWB), Swindon and two appliances from Stratton attended a kitchen fire in RWB. On arrival crews located a fire in the kitchen on the ground floor of the property and 2 BA wearers set to work to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet. Another 2 wearers checked the property for any fire spread. The elderly occupant had self evacuated prior to the arrival of crews and made her way to a nearby shop who raised the alarm to Fire Control. One crew tended to the casualty and administered oxygen therapy to the occupant whilst awaiting the arrival of the Ambulance service.
