False Alarm – Salisbury

Date: 8th June, 2019

Time: 9.51am

Description: Two pumps from Salisbury attended a report of a burning smell in a premises off Old Castle Road, Salisbury. On arrival crews found the smell to be due to an overheated electrical component in the boiler. The boiler was isolated and crews gave advice to arrange for an engineer to attend. The premises was checked using a thermal imaging camera and no fire found - false alarm with good intent.
