Domestic Fire – Salisbury

Date: 17th October, 2019

Time: 2.02am

Description: At 02:02 we received a call from a member of public to say the alarm in the neighbouring property was sounding. Two pumps from Salisbury Fire Station were mobilised to the address in Wessex Road, Salisbury. On arrival crews were unable to make contact with the occupier. Access was gained to the property via a bedroom window and a male was rescued from the property using a short extension ladder. The male was suffering smoke inhalation following a fire involving burnt cooking and was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
