Chimney fire- Salisbury

Date: 30th October, 2018

Time: 7:22pm

Description: At 19:22 fire control took a 999 call to reports of a roof that was on fire. 2 fire engines from Salisbury along with an aerial ladder platform from St Marys (Hampshire)+ support pump were mobilised. The crews were swiftly in attendance and confirmed that it was not the roof that was on fire but a chimney. Crews used stirrup pumps and chimney rods to extinguish the fire.
