Description: At 1810 hours DWFRS received a call to a chimney fire at a property on Wick Lane, Manningford Bohune. One pump from Pewsey, one pump from Marlborough and an aerial appliance from Salisbury were sent to the incident. Crews used rods and a stirrup pump to extinguish the fire involving a wood burning stove. The aerial appliance was utilised for access from above and a thermal imaging camera was used to check the roof void. Slight smoke logging to the roof void naturally dissipated. Advice was given to the occupier of the property.
