Description: One pump from Corsham was mobilised to a report of a chimney fire at a premises on Drewetts Mill Lane, Box. Once in attendance crews found the chimney alight with the chimney stack. Crews were preparing to use chimney rods, small tools and a thermal imaging camera when they requested a further pump attend. A second pump from Corsham attended to assist with manpower. Crews removed grating and unburnt wood to gain access to chimney stack. A chimney kit, stirrup pump and portable lighting was used to extinguish the fire and the first floor and attic space were checked with the thermal imaging camera to make sure there were no further hot spots.
