Bird rescue, Preston Road Weymouth

Description: Just before 7pm this evening, Fire Control received a call to a holiday park where a crow was physically stuck in a tree with something caught around its leg. A crew from Weymouth Fire Station attended, and then requested assistance from the Aerial Ladder Platform appliance also based at Weymouth Fire Station. That appliance was used to rescue the bird, which was then left in the hands of a Wildlife Company professional. The rescue was complete by 20:25
