The Fire and Rescue Service in Dorset has had a long association with the Prince’s Trust, having been a franchise holder for delivering the team programme for nearly 20 years.
Since 1997, we have run over 100 programmes, helping young people aged between 16 and 25 to recognise and achieve their potential, and assisting them to move onto a positive outcome, be that work, education, training or volunteering.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are now working in partnership with The Prince’s Trust to deliver the Team programme across Bournemouth and Poole.
WHO – For young people aged 16-25 who are not in education, work or training.
WHAT – Take part in an action packed 12 weeks where you will get to:
- Improve your confidence and meet new people
- Gain qualifications including Emergency First Aid at Work
- Take part in an activity based residential
- Plan and complete a community project
- Complete a work placement
- Build up your CV and skills
WHEN –Our next Team starts Monday 23rd September 2019 and finishes Friday 13th December 2019.
WHERE – This course will be delivered from Hamworthy Fire Station, Blandford Road, Hamworthy, BH15 4JN
