Junior FireFit

Junior FireFit aims to encourage young people to keep themselves fit.

Using firefighters as inspirational role models, Junior Firefit is designed to educate children to make heathier choices, focusing on fitness, healthy eating, wellbeing and positive values. Our firefighters need to be fit and healthy to do their job and the question we are asking children is “Are you FireFit?”

This free five week programme is designed so it can be self-delivered by schools, within the school setting, following the easy to use resources, with all the equipment and lesson plans provided.

The Junior FireFit programme offers schools a fantastic PE scheme of work, linking in with both the PE and PHSE national curriculum, to promote healthy, active lives.
