Be Fire Fit
It is really important that you keep yourself fit and healthy.
If you can, get outside once a day for a walk, run or cycle. But remember to keep your distance (at least 2 meters) from other people. But remember the C19 Mini Superhero Rules.
If you have a garden, make sure you get out to play and have some fresh air as often as you can.
Our firefighters need to be fit and healthy to do their job and they want to encourage you to lead an active and healthy lifestyle focused on; fitness, healthy eating, wellbeing and positive values.
Are you ready for the firefighter challenge?
Each week you can “meet a firefighter” on a video. The firefighter will tell you about themselves, what they enjoy about being a firefighter, some tips on how to stay safe, and a healthy snack in case you are feeling peckish after you have completed the “Firefighter Challenge”!
Each week the firefighter will give you a different exercise to practice for that week. Can you get better at it throughout the week?
While we wait to meet the first firefighter why not join Firefighter Nigel in his wake and shake?
