Area: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
We were called to a wooden barn on fire, with residents warned to keep doors/windows closed due to the smoke.

A fire crew from Devizes attended a domestic property in The Brittox, in Devizes this afternoon. Firefighters discovered a small fire involving an electric shower, which was out on their arrival. The crew isolated the electricity supply and gave advice to the occupier. No firefighting action was necessary.

Three fire crews are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision involving two saloon cars, on an unclassified road between Braydon crossroads and Purton. Firefighters released one of the casualties from their vehicle, and both casualties were attended to by members of the South West Ambulance Service. Crews came from Royal Wootton Bassett, Stratton St Margaret, and Swindon. A crew from Westlea was relocated to the centre of Swindon to provide cover.

Rescue from tree – Moreton
21st April, 2024 at 2.45pm
A crew from Wareham, a crew from Dorchester and a technical rescue team from Poole were called to a location off Warmwell Road, Moreton to help a teenage boy stuck on a fallen tree over a deep pond. Firefighters were able to enter the water and brought him to safety.

Person stuck in mud – North Chideock
18th April, 2024 at 2.46pm
We were called with reports of a person stuck in mud near Venn Lane, North Chideock. On arrival, firefighters found one male stuck in mud suffering from cold exposure. Spades were used to dig him out and bring him to a stable surface before being released into the care of the ambulance service.
